InSeason shows you what's actually in season — right now, where you live. 170+ vegetables, fruits, herbs, mushrooms, and seafood, each with a real seasonal window tuned to one of seven US growing regions.

Why doesn't the app match my local farm stand exactly?

Seasonality varies farm to farm and year to year. InSeason maps you to one of seven broad US growing regions and shows honest, typical windows for each — a great guide, not a guarantee. Microclimates (and ambitious greenhouses) will always surprise you.

Do I have to share my location?

No. Location is optional and only ever used on-device to pick your growing region. You can set your region manually from the location chip on the Today screen — every feature works the same.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The entire catalog lives on your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking, no internet required.

Why is an imported item "in season" in winter?

For imported and tropical items the app shows realistic US-market windows — when the fruit at your store is actually at its best — and notes regional domestic crops (Florida citrus, desert dates) where they exist.
