Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 4, 2026
InSeason is built to be private. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. The developer does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information.
Location
InSeason can optionally use your device's location to determine which US growing region you're in, so it can show produce in season near you. This works as follows: with your permission, your coordinates are converted to a state name using Apple's geocoding service on your device, and only the resulting region (for example, "Pacific Northwest") is kept, stored locally on your device. Your location is never transmitted off your device and is not shared with any third party by the app. You can decline location access entirely and choose your region manually — every feature works the same.
Data stored on your device
Your chosen region preference is saved in the app's local storage on your device. It never leaves your device and is deleted when you delete the app.
Data collection
The app collects nothing: no identifiers, no usage analytics, no crash reports beyond what Apple provides to developers in aggregate (subject to your own iOS "Share With App Developers" setting), and no personal information.
Third-party services
InSeason uses no third-party SDKs. It relies only on Apple system frameworks (such as Core Location and Apple's geocoding service), which are governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Children
InSeason does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
